The COVID-19 pandemic had a strong impact on the holding of mass events. For example, the Lollapalooza and the Festival Estéreo Picnic, which had been planned for 2020, had to reschedule the dates several times, in order that it could be carried out with the least amount of restrictions possible.
In recent days, these two events announced their official and final dates, as well as the artists that will be performing. It should be noted that those who had purchased tickets for the 2020 edition, can use them for 2022.
Lollapalooza
The music festival will take place in Brazil, Argentina, and Chile.
- In the case of Argentina, it will take place in Buenos Aires (Hipódromo de San Isidro), between March 18, 19 and 20. Tickets will be on sale from November 16.
- As for Chile, it will be in Santiago (Parque O'Higgins), also for March 18, 19, and 20. Tickets are presumed to be available on the same date as Argentina.
- Brazil will have it in Sao Paulo (Interlagos Autodrome) between March 25, 26, and 27. The general sale will be given from November 18.
The only one that does not have a confirmed line-up is Chile, although it is expected to be very similar to that of Argentina since they take place on the same date.
On Friday Argentina will have Miley Cyrus as its top star. They will also accompany A $ AP ROCKY, C. Tangana, Duki, or Marina, among others. As for Saturday, The Strokes will be the top guest, but there will also be Justin Quiles, Doja Cat, and Nicki Nicole. For Sunday, Foo Fighters will be present, with Martin Garrix, Babasónicos, and L-Gante.
As for Brazil, the list is actually very similar to that of Argentina. The only thing that occurs is the changes in the dates since those of Friday become Saturday and those of Saturday become Friday. They remain the same as on Sunday. Something similar could happen with the one in Chile, that is, that the artists rotate.
Undoubtedly, the return of Miley Cyrus to Latin America was expected, because she is in a great musical moment. On the other hand, The Strokes will take the opportunity to establish their popularity in the region by presenting their new album "The New Abnormal", while Foo Fighters is a mythical band that everyone would like to witness sometime.

On Friday, Foo Fighters will be present, along with other outstanding groups, such as Las Ligas Menores or Nile Rodgers & Chic. As for Saturday, the top star will be J Balvin, who will be accompanied by Martin Garrix, Nicki Nicole, and C. Tangana. For Sunday, The Strokes will headline the event, accompanied by Wos and Machine Gun Kelly, among others.
