The awards season already has another renowned gala in its sights and it is none other than the Emmys. In 2022, the 74th ceremony in its history will be held, which will take place on September 12 at the Microsoft Theater in the city of Los Angeles. And it is that in recent days, the actor's JB Smoove and Melissa Fumero together with the CEO of the Television Academy, Frank Scherma, announced the candidates in their different categories.

The different streaming platforms return to the fight to win more awards during the evening, and among the most nominated is HBO with some 140 nominations (10 more than last year) and Netflix with 105 (24 less than the previous gala). In turn, Apple TV continues to rise like foam and is positioned as an option to seriously consider, as it appears 51 times thanks to the success of "Ted Lasso."

Before telling you which are the most nominated productions of the Emmys and on which streaming platforms to watch them, it is worth mentioning those that narrowly failed to enter the top 5. On the HBO Max side, "Euphoria" (with 16) and "Barry" (14) appear; Hulu has another big rep with "Dopesick" (14); while Netflix stands out thanks to "Squid Game" (14), "Ozark" (13) and "Stranger Things" (13).

It is not only the most nominated series of the 2022 Emmys, but it also broke the record for the most nominations in the different acting categories in a year with 14. The three seasons tell the story of a dysfunctional family, the owner of an empire of audiovisual media and various entertainment companies, you can enjoy them on HBO Max.

What nominations do "Hacks" have? With two more than in the last edition, "Hacks" is positioned as the second comedy with the most nominations with 17. Beyond the technical categories such as best series, cast, costumes, direction, script, and sound, the most relevant goes to the performance: leading actress, supporting actress, guest actor, and guest actress (4).

"Only Murders In the Building"

Created by Steve Martin, a comedy genius, this series is one of the highlights to watch on Hulu.
