On October 18, a new NBA season will begin, in which the great teams of the best basketball in the world will face each other again. Which teams are emerging as possible champions this time? In this article, we tell you.
This Season's Favorite Teams
Golden State Warriors
The golden dynasty of the Golden State Warriors seems to have no end. With a healthy team, they could be on their way to winning their fifth title under Steph Curry. Two key factors will determine how far the Warriors can go this season: the health of Klay Thompson, one of their best pitchers, and the growth of James Wiseman, their young but promising center.
Brooklyn Nets
The Brooklyn Nets have been the team that has failed to live up to the hype for almost 2 years. However, this year could be promising if superstars Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant can work together to bring out the best in the team. His commitment to continuity with the Nets, something that had been in doubt in past seasons, will no doubt help improve chemistry between the players.
Milwaukee Bucks
Injuries during the previous season played a trick on the Bucks. However, if they manage to keep a healthy team this season, we could be looking at the next NBA champions. The Bucks are one of the best defensive teams in the league, with true talent in that aspect of the game like Giannis Antetokoumpo and Jrue Holiday. Perhaps their main problem is their lack of 3-pointers, a key factor in the modern NBA, which could work against them.

Dallas Mavericks
Since he's been in the league, every year has been an opportunity for Luka Donic to improve. He is the young star of the Dallas Mavericks who is shaping up to be the next franchise player in the league (like LeBron James or Michael Jordan). Last year, he almost single-handedly led his team to the conference finals. This time around, with a greater amount of experience, we could easily see them reach the NBA Finals. Of course, he will need much more support from his team, which is not exactly made up of great stars in the league.
Memphis Grizzlies
With 56 wins last season, the Memphis Grizzlies were the second-best team in the league. This is a team full of youngsters, led by MVP candidate Ja Morant, who could surprise us next season. However, there are some factors this season that work against them. For example, they lost De'Anthony Melton and Kyle Anderson, two key pieces to the team's bench and perimeter defense last season. Their lack of experience also showed in their second-round playoff games against the Warriors, in which the previous champions systematically destroyed them.
