The Golden Globes are awarded by the Foreign Press Association in Hollywood to the best film and television productions in the United States. In this version the awards will be delivered on January 5 in Los Angeles, California. These are the most nominated.
Marriage Story
This is the new film by Frances Ha's director, Noah Baumbach, that tells the story of a married couple in which there is no longer love. Marriage Story is the most nominated of this year, with 6 nominations. It is nominated for:
- Best Drama Movie
- Best Actor in a Drama (Adam Driver)
- Best Actress in a Drama (Scarlett Johansson)
- Best screenplay
- Best Supporting Actress (Laura Dern)
The Irishman
The Netflix production also has 5 nominations this year, being also one of the favorites. This is the new gangster movie by Marin Scorsese, starring Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino. It is nominated for:
- Best Drama Movie
- Best Director (Martin Scorsese)
- Best screenplay
- Best Supporting Actor (Al Pacino and Joe Pesci)
Joker
Another great success this year, the film about the classic villain took three nominations this time:
- Best Drama Movie
- Best Director (Todd Phillips)
- Best Actor in a Drama (Joaquín Phoenix)
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood
One of the great premieres of this year, the last movie of Quentin Tarantino. The film follows the story of Sharon Tate and two friends in the Hollywood of the seventies; it got five nominations:
- Best Comedy or Musical movie
- Best Director (Quentin Tarantino)
- Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical (Leonardo DiCaprio)
- Best screenplay
- Best Supporting Actor (Brad Pitt)

Chernobyl
In terms of television productions, HBO's Chernobyl is undoubtedly one of the favorites with four nominations:
- Best Miniseries or Television Movie
- Best Actor in a Miniseries or Movie for Television (Jared Harris)
- Best Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or Television Movie (Stellan Skarsgård)
- Best Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or Television Movie (Emily Watson)
Fleabag

British feminist comedy is another favorite in terms of television productions. It has three nominations:
