MIUI 12 is Xiaomi's new customization layer, which is based on Android. First of all, what we must say is that this company's smartphones are truly popular in all parts of the world, as is the case in Latin America, due to their excellent value for their prize.

For example, the specialized website of XiaomiAdictos mentions that one of its latest models, known as Xiaomi Mi 10, was a complete success, having more than 1 million units sold. This is curious since this model is one of the most expensive since it is the one with the best specifications.

Well, in this case we will specifically talk about its operating system, MIUI, which released its version number 12.

How is MIU12?

The first thing we can say is that aesthetics are very important to the company. This can be seen in the sense that, from the beginning, they bet on maintaining a minimalist style, quite close to what happened with Apple's iOS. Today, after several launches, they already have their own identity.

However, that doesn't mean they can't make modifications to please users. One of the implemented changes lies in the fluidity of the animations, which have changed to adapt to the new models, which have screens with a much higher refresh rate.

In this sense, the new version of MIUI integrates changes in the interface, which allows you to rearrange the elements that appear on the screen. For example, a weather application is shown with background images, so that we understand if it is raining or it is an afternoon with sunshine.

Similarly, there are some minimal changes in terms of appearance that will be interesting to see. One of them occurs when you delete an application, where colorful bubbles explode to give it a much more beautiful and delicate touch.

Of course, that's not all, because in terms of operation there are also some changes. One of them is the possibility of adding a floating multitasking service, which will allow us to see what happens in another application while browsing an external one. This is great for keeping us informed while browsing the web, for example.

From the website of The Republic of Peru they mention that there are some hidden features, such as the anti-flicker mode, which is ideal to reduce screen flickering in environments where we are in low light, causing visibility to increase.

Privacy and security issues have also been taken seriously. The specialized Xiaomi4mi website comments that user privacy is outside the company's servers. This can be corroborated in the information history that the applications access, which we can visit whenever we want.

Finally, the software will be gradually implemented in the models, according to the release dates. According to what the Free Android website collects, the update will start at the following terminals: Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 9, Mi 9SE, Mi 9 Pro, Mi 8, Mi CC9 Pro, Mi CC9, Mi CC9e , Mi Mix 3, Mi Mix 2s and Mi Mix 2. If you have an older one, you should wait a little longer.
