According to a new publication, exposure to low-frequency electromagnetic fields represents a health hazard not properly addressed
An article published in the National Center for Biotechnology Information, part of the National Library of Medicine of the United States, pointed out that national and international organizations such as the World Health Organization are not correctly addressing the dangers that exposure to low electromagnetic fields Frequently represents for health.
The newspaper Sputnik notes that among the authors of the publication are scientists from the Institute of General Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the European Institute of Research on Causes of Cancer (Belgium), the Department of Radiobiology of the Center for Biomedical Research (Slovakia), the Oncology Department of the University Hospital of Orebro (Sweden) and several institutes in Italy, the United States and Australia.

It is well known that microwaves can increase cell growth, alter the activity of enzymes, the permeability of the cell membrane and the protein folding method.
There are, therefore, people who are too sensitive to electromagnetic radiation, even very low, of power lines. Those who live near cell towers complain of dizziness, headaches, rash, and allergies.
Now, according to the publication, there is strong evidence that excessive exposure to mobile phone frequencies over long periods of time increases the risk of brain cancer in both humans and animals.
However, the researchers point out that the standards established by most national and international organizations do not protect human health, a situation that is even more worrying in children, given the greater susceptibility of the developing nervous system, the hyperconductivity of its tissue and the rapid expansion of the use of wireless technologies among them.

In addition, some studies in mice show that irradiation affects the expression of certain genes that can alter cognitive abilities and memory space. These microwaves have also been associated with neuropsychiatric and behavioral disorders, changes in blood pressure, in the immune system, Alzheimer's disease and changes in the thyroid.
On the other hand, male mice showed a deterioration in the quality of seminal fluid and in females an effect on fertility due to them.
This is why scientists warn that since public organizations cannot recognize the danger of mobile radiation, governments should take measures independently and issue instructions and warnings on how to minimize the effects of microwaves on the body.
At the same time, experts recommend paying attention to the specific absorption rate, which shows how much radiation energy the living tissue will absorb when it comes to buying appliances.
