The Governments of Venezuela and China Review Bilateral Economic and Trade Agreements
On their trip to China, representatives of the Venezuelan Government have reviewed agreements with the Asian giant. This is known so far from the meeting of Venezuela and China .

The Executive Vice President of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of China, Wang Yi, held a meeting in Beijing in which they "reviewed bilateral issues and the promotion of economic and trade agreements" between both nations, reported this Thursday the Venezuelan Government.
The meeting, held within the framework of the Venezuelan official's visit to the Asian giant, aimed to "continue consolidating diplomatic relations at the highest level between both sister nations," according to the Venezuelan Vice Presidency in a statement.
The Government did not offer further details of what was agreed upon in this meeting, in which Rodríguez was accompanied by the Minister of Petroleum, Pedro Tellechea; the Venezuelan ambassador to China, Giuseppe Yoffreda; and the vice minister for Asia, the Middle East and Oceania, Tatiana Pugh; among other members of the delegation.
Signing of memorandums
During the visit to China, which began this Tuesday, a memorandum was signed between the China Satellite Oceanography Center, the Bolivarian Agency for Space Activities and the Venezuelan Institute of Scientific Research (IVIC) aimed at the specialized study of the environment, as well as understanding and generating "effective" responses to climate change.

In addition, both nations signed a memorandum of understanding in order to "establish broader cooperation in the processing and analysis of satellite images of various kinds," the Foreign Ministry of the Caribbean country reported this Thursday.
As part of the agenda, Rodríguez met with the president of the New Development Bank of the BRICS group of emerging economies, Dilma Rousseff, to explore options for economic cooperation.
China and Venezuela have strengthened ties during the time of the late President Hugo Chávez (1999-2013), relations that Maduro has intensified during his government.
