Pop Culture – The Dukes of Sussex sign contract with Spotify

The couple just signed a multi-year contract to produce and host podcasts on the streaming platform. The goal of these podcasts is to highlight diverse perspectives and voices, as reported in a press release.

This new adventure will be under the umbrella of the firm Archewell Audio, owned by the Dukes, and that has been created for this purpose in an exclusive association with Spotify, and whose slogan is "programming that elevates and entertains audiences around the world."

The first podcast of this new alliance will be in the couple's words, a holiday special in which "it will feature stories of hope and compassion from inspiring guests in celebration of the new year."

Movies – New Whitney Houston Biopic Released

I Wanna Dance With Somebody is the name of the biopic based on the life of music legend Whitney Houston. Producer Clive Davis and the record label Primary Wave Music, owners of the rights to the work from Houston, have given the green light to this project and it is expected to hit theaters by Thanksgiving 2022.

The producers have chosen actress Naomi Ackie to play Houston, who achieved great recognition for her role in Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker, in which she played Jannah.

Books – The Memoirs of Alan Rickman

Video Games – Space Jam comes with a new version of the video game

Digital Eclipse, reported this week that with the launch of the movie Space Jam 2 in which basketball player Lebron James participates, it will be accompanied by a new version of the video game.

According to Digital Eclipse, the video game will be released as an additional value for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members under the name Space Jam: A New Legacy and is expected to be released in the second half of 2021.
