Music – 39 years to reach the top 10 of the Billboard 200

The album Greatest Hits by the British band Queen, achieved this week, and after 39 years and a month,  the top 10 of the Billboard 200 list. This album released in October 1981 has had multiple releases, making it one of the best selling albums.

This week it went from position 36 to 8 and it is presumed that this escalation is due to an offer of vinyl acetates that Walmart made, in which this store sold more than 24,000 copies of this album in the space of a week.

Only Nat King Cole's album The Christmas Song has taken longer to achieve this milestone, achieving it in 2019, after 55 years, from its release in 1963.
