What is the Puskás award?
The FIFA Puskás Award is the award given to the player who scored the best goal of the professional football season. It has existed since 2009 and has never been won by a woman. The nomination of Linda Caicedo excites professional soccer players in this regard.
This award is given in memory and honor of Ferenc Puskás, scorer for the Hungarian national team, who died in 2006. Puskás is remembered as one of the best scorers of all time.
