The Latin public went crazy after Harry Styles has confirmed that he will tour the region. More specifically, the musician will arrive in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru. At the time, his second world tour was scheduled for 2020 but had to be canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, now some fans will have their chance, but others were left with the pain of not being able to see the artist. This was seen in Ecuador, where they complained about the fact that the British did not decide to include a date in this country. However, many of them will try to see him at one of the concerts in their neighboring countries, which will take place in November of this year.
Fans sold out the tickets when the musician announced these dates. In Argentina, it is rumored that there will be a new role in River Plate, as a large number of people were left out of the only one confirmed so far. So, seeing this situation, why is this artist so popular in our region? Here we explain some reasons.
Due to his enormous success in One Direction
One Direction was one of the most important musical phenomena of recent decades. In full swing (2014), the quintet announced a tour of Latin America. By then, Harry Styles and his companions were shaping up to be one of the most outstanding appearances in the industry, as they had achieved great recognition from critics and fans.

Even to date, they are considered one of the most important "boybands" in history. Although they have currently separated, there are thousands of fans who, through social networks, compile the best songs, statements, and any kind of curiosity that reminds us of such an emblematic group.
For his transcendence as a soloist
However, there is one aspect in which Harry Styles stood out: transcending after One Direction. Although his companions have also had their own paths, Styles has been the most successful. His albums have millions of reproductions and he has performed massive shows.
A notorious example is seen with one of his biggest hits, “Watermelon Sugar”. For example, on Spotify it has exceeded 1,000 million reproductions, it is one of the songs that has been at the top of Latin listeners for the longest time since it was at the top for several weeks since its launch (2019).
Because of his view of the world, O
Harry Styles has transcended for his progressive vision of the world. For example, he has always spoken out in favor of the LGBTQ+ community, ensuring that his concerts will be a safe place for his audience to express themselves as they are, regardless of their gender or sexual orientation.

This is something that has struck a chord in Latin America, which is still going through a process of obtaining social rights. For example, whenever gender discrimination is discussed, photographic productions of the artist in different dresses are used, since he has a transgressive attitude towards those who are more conservative.
Because of his love for Latin fans
It should also be noted that Harry Styles had shows in Latin America and achieved great empathy with the public. In 2018, when he appeared at the Palacio de Los Deportes in Mexico, he commented that he missed the Mexicans very much and that he was truly happy to be in that country. He even spoke in Spanish at the end of the second song.
That show also had a great reception from the public, in line with what we commented on his view of the world. For example, when he sang the verses of "Ever since New York" and "Two ghosts", all his fans raised green, yellow, blue, and pink lights symbolizing the flag of sexual diversity.
On the other hand, he has also expressed himself in favor of Argentina in some interviews, as happened with Sony, commenting that it is one of the countries where he has had the best time. As for the rest of the countries, there were not too many statements, although there were joint visits with their former bandmates.
In any case, Harry Styles shows will be a sign of his success in Latin America. And you, do you already have your tickets for the concert?
