For many, the Moon influences their social behavior and they claim that the Full Moon, in particular, governs their emotions.

The Full Moon’s Energy

L. Moeller's book "The Moon's Influence on People" is about the need for social or mental expansion during this moon phase, where people are more receptive and social relationships more favorable.

So is the Full Moon the best time to socialize? The famous Full Moon Party in Thailand is a sample of this belief, as this renowned party takes place every night of the full moon on the island of Koh Phangan, on Haad Rin beach, gathering around 30 thousand people in a rumba atmosphere, with several stages and bars that open their doors facing the beach with music for all tastes such as Techno, Trance, House, Drum & Bass, R&B, Reggae and commercial music in general.

This exciting celebration begins at dusk when the Sunsets and the Moon appear on the horizon. Little by little people are arriving, some of them place luminous paintings and an atmosphere of unlimited fun begins to be created, with the sole objective of "having fun" and making friends, in a spectacular natural setting animated by jugglers, the shows with fire and fireworks, making this event one of the most recognized beach parties after that of Ibiza in Spain.

Beyond the festive atmosphere full of energy, the atmosphere of this Full Moon creates a magical atmosphere and awakens the deepest instincts. The energy of the Full Moon is powerful and incomparable which facilitates for some the best time to cleanse the emotions through dance and creativity, or simply to meet with the celestial star and cleanse the energies.

A Brand in Our Civilizations

The vast majority of cultures have based their myths and way of life on observing the Moon. The Moon was a fundamental tool for measuring time in the Paleolithic, as evidenced by the lunar notation notches on the Abri Blanchard bone. Years later the Babylonians, the Chinese, and the Mayans established their calendars around the lunar cycles. The sacred texts of India, for their part, indicate its power to control the waters, and even Egyptian gods and lunar goddesses were responsible for fertilizing the fields and giving life to the plants: Osiris, known as the god of death, also he is the god of life who personalized the rebirth and germination of vegetation. In addition, current cultures such as Jewish, Muslim, and Buddhist determine their religious dates around the lunar concept.

The analogy between the Moon and the woman is also evident because the period between the two is approximately 28 days, which reveals the connection between the feminine, the divine, and the mystery of life.

Beyond any belief, the Full Moon has a magical atmosphere, as an old proverb says "the Sun knows your body, but the Moon knows your soul."
