Cameron Díaz, the American actress recognized for films such as The Mask (1994), There's something about Mary(1998) and Vanilla Sky (2001), retired from acting and dedicated herself to her own business.
Recently, Cameron Diaz and Katherine Power launched their own wine brand, Avaline. And now, the actress lives a quiet life with her husband and her new baby Raddix, born in late 2019 according to her statements.
Diaz appeared on Gwyneth Paltrow's series In goop Health: The Sessions talking about her new business and the reasons she moved away from show business, her change in mindset as she got older, and the impact her career had on her well-being and her relationships.
The revelation involves a series of statements that make clear what goes on behind the world of show business in Hollywood in the view of the actress, who told Paltrow that: "I just decided that I wanted different things for my life. I had tried so hard during so much time working, making movies and it's an arduous task," Diaz said. "I really didn't make any space for my personal life."
The interview includes the statements of Díaz, 47, nominated for four Golden Globes in the course of a career that lasted more than 20 years, and today lives away from the world of acting arguing that she feels peace.

The former actress said that she decided to really focus on her family relationships and friends after handing over control of certain aspects of her life to other people for many years.
"When you're making a movie, it's a perfect excuse: they own you. You're there 12 hours a day for months and you don't have time for anything else," he said.
“The actors are infantilized, they're always looking out for us.” Diaz said she never really felt comfortable with that kind of life and had to take responsibility after retiring.
She decided to become "self-sufficient" and show that she could take care of herself as an adult, "putting all the pieces of my life together the way I wanted it to be, not how other people thought it should be."
The controversial responses allowed for the first time to come to light the reasons for the distance between the actress and the world in which she lived and in which she was exposed for more than 20 years. Diaz also said that it is "intense" to be in public view.
"There is a lot of energy at all times when you are really visible as an actor and you do the press and you expose yourself," said the international news outlet CNN, which replicated the information.
In his time away from acting and into his new life, Diaz has published two books – "The Body Book" and "The Longevity Book" – and married Good Charlotte singer Benji Madden in 2015. The couple announced the birth of their daughter Raddix Madden earlier this year, CNN claims.
