The news of Bad Bunny’s visit has shaken reggaeton fans in Colombia! The most listened to artist during 2021 on Spotify and probably the most famous reggaeton player in the world will be in the paisa capital on November 18 and his tickets will go on sale on Friday, January 28.

This news adds to that of several world-class artists who will be in Colombia in 2022, which has established itself as a key country in the tour of international artists. In fact, something interesting is happening in the country: Medellín and Bogotá have positioned themselves as strong stages in Latin America for different genres and audiences.

For years, the reggaeton scene has been very strong in Medellin. In fact, it has been said that it is the capital of reggaeton. The truth is that it is a perreo factory, not only because great artists such as Maluma, J Balvin, Karol G or Reykon are from there, but also because it has also been the home of other greats such as Nicky Jam, Ñejo and Dalmata. In fact, on May 27 and 28, an event called “El Choli moves to Medellín” will be held at the Atanasio Girardot Stadium, to celebrate the reception of Puerto Rican music in Colombia. Wisin and Yandel, Arcángel, Magnate and Valentino, and Sech will participate there.

That is why it is not surprising that Bad Bunny only contemplates performing in the capital of Antioquia, like Karol G on her last tour. However, this artist will also perform on February 26 in Barranquilla. Another great that will only be in Medellín will be Maluma, who will perform his concert on April 30.
