The beginning of the pandemic marked the end of the musical life of 2020. Artists and bands posted on the chronologies of their social networks the poster of “suspended” or in the best of cases, that of “postponed”. Shortly after, the streaming concerts appeared and the living rooms began to replace the stadiums in an attempt by the music industry to minimize the economic losses caused by the coronavirus. With 2020 drawing to a close, it's time to take a look at what 2021 will bring.
Lollapalooza
Both beginners and regulars at Lollapalooza will have to wait almost a year to be able to attend the Interlagos Autodromo. After the concert scheduled for this month of December has been canceled, the new date has been set for September 10, 11, and 12, 2021. The organization clarifies that the tickets already purchased for 2020 will remain valid for then. Before the event was suspended, performances by Guns N 'Roses, Cage the Elephant, The Strokes and Travis Scott were scheduled; For now, no names are listed on the festival's official website.
Rock in Rio
Iron Maiden, Dream Theater, Megadeth, Sepultura, Living Colors and Steve Vai occupy the poster in an edition of Rock in Rio in which, as usual, there will be no shortage of double bass drums, metal distortion and dizzying guitar solos. The dates chosen for the event have been September 24, 25, 26 and 30 and October 1, 2 and 3, 2021. The start of ticket sales is scheduled for March 9.
Kiss: End of the Road World Tour
Any fan of Kiss who wants to see one of their latest concerts will have to choose between the recitals that the mythical North American hard rock band will offer in Colombia, Peru, Chile, Brazil and Argentina. With their latest tour, the End of The World Tour, the band founded by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley has chosen Latin America as the stage on which to end decades of concerts. From October 10 to 23, 2021, KISS will take the stage in Bogotá, Lima, Santiago, Sao Paolo, Ribeirao Preto, Curitiba, Porto Alegre and Buenos Aires.
