Leer en español: Estas son nuestras predicciones para los Playoffs de la NBA
The most exciting phase of the NBA has begun: the Playoffs. The best teams of the regular season will face each other to be the champions of this 2020. Here at Latam Post we tell you how the Playoffs are shaping up and how far we see each team go.
Western Conference:
Los Angeles Lakers vs Portland Trailblazers
Final score: 4-2 in favor of the Lakers
The Trail Blazers are coming off a winning streak, eliminating their competition, the Grizzlies, from entering the Playoffs. Nor should they take away the two 60-point games in a row that their ace, Damian Lillard achieved. However, this will not be enough to overcome Lebron and his Lakers. You have to remember that James has never lost in the first round of the playoffs.
Where do we see the Lakers ?: Minimal, in the conference final
Where do we see Portland ?: Eliminated in the first round.
Houston Rockets vs Oklahoma City Thunder
Final score: 4-3 in favor of the Thunder
Although Houston has one of the most gifted offensive players in the league in Harden, the Oklahoma City Thunder finished this season with a winning record against the Houston team. Additionally, Russell Westbrook's injury is a serious injury for a team struggling to rebound.
Where do we see the Rockets ?: Eliminated in the first round.
Where do we see OKC ?: Eliminated in the second round by the Lakers
Denver Nuggets vs Utah Jazz
Final score: 4-3 in favor of Nuggets
This may be the closest first-round game in the playoffs. Both teams boast two of the best centers in the league, Gobert on the Jazz and Nikola Jokic on the Nuggets. However, with a 3-1 record in the regular season, Denver will most likely take the win.
Where do we see the Jazz ?: Eliminated in the first round
Where do we see the Nuggets ?: Eliminated in the second round by the Mavericks or Clippers
Dallas Mavericks vs Los Angeles Clippers
Final score: 4-3 in favor of the Mavericks
The X factor in this playoff series is Luka Doncic. We've never seen the young player in the playoffs and it's true that the Clippers have a better regular-season record (as well as a 3-0 winning record this season against Dallas) than the Mavericks. However, it is also true that Luka has achieved records that no player has at his age. Will he be able to show his face in his first playoff appearance? We hope so
Where do we see the Clippers ?: Eliminated in the first round.
Where do we see the Mavericks ?: Conference final against the Lakers
The 2020 NBA Playoffs begin TOMORROW (8/17) with games ALL DAY starting at 1:30 PM ET on ESPN! #WholeNewGame

Eastern Conference:
Milwaukee Bucks vs Orlando Magic
Final score: 4-0 in favor of the Bucks
There is no competition here. With the best record of the regular season and arguably the league MVP on their team, the Bucks will undoubtedly be at least their conference champions.
Where do we see the Bucks ?: Playing NBA Finals
Where do we see the Magic ?: Eliminated in the first round
Pacers vs Heat
Final score: 4-2 in favor of the Heat
The Heat have a 3-1 winning record in the regular season against the Pacers, as well as a pool of players who are not stars, but who are much more consistently consistent than the Pacers "non-stars."
Where do we see the Heat ?: Eliminated in the second round by the Bucks
Where do we see the Pacers ?: Eliminated in the first round
Boston Celtics vs Philadelphia 76ers
Final score: 5-0 in favor of the Celtics
The absence of Ben Simmons, the 76ers' star guard, is what hurts them the most in this matchup. In the regular season they are 3-1 against the Celtics, but without Simmons, it is very difficult for them to beat them again.
Where Do We See The Celtics ?: Conference Finals Against The Bucks
Where do we see the 76ers ?: Eliminated in the first round
Toronto Raptors vs Brooklyn Nets
Final score: 4-2 in favor of the Raptors
Last year's champions have everything to get past the first round. Although they are suffering from the absence of Kawhi Leonard, their ace last year, without Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving the Nets' chances of winning are slim to none.
Where do we see the Raptors ?: Eliminated in the second round by the Celtics
Where do we see the Nets ?: First-round eliminated by the Raptors
